Podcast 85: Food and France: cooking in Provence w/ Judith Keys!

Hello hello, and welcome to Episode 85 of Life On the Brink!

Have you, like me, read countless stories of people who uprooted their lives and moved to the south of France, enjoying days of sunshine and yummy food? Well today I'm speaking with Judith Keys, owner of My Food in France, an online cooking membership and community, who did just that!

Originally from Northern Ireland, Judith has lived the past 10 years in Provence, and she's recently combined her loves of cooking, baking, and living in France to form a lovely new business adventure.

This is such a delightful conversation, as we talk all about her move to Provence, French food and developing a love of cooking, and also about creating a community through cooking. With years and years of cooking experience, Judith now brings her wisdom to so many people through My Food in France, along with a dose of sunshine from France.

Now, grab a cuppa and let’s dive in!

What’s in my teacup? I would recommend something with lavender for this episode!

Alright here we go! As is usually the case with my interview episodes, we’re going to talk about a LOT of stuff, so I recommend listening to the full interview, which starts at 3:31. I’m going to leave links to things we discussed below, along with some pictures of Judith and her home. Be sure to check out her website to get all her information!

And if you enjoyed this episode, you might like some of these previous Life On The Brink episodes:

Judith’s Little Joy: Judith had just taught an online class in which everyone made a coconut lime cake (one of her favorites) together, and Judith loved not only the finished product, but more than that seeing the pictures from all those who attended. Their joy at finishing a recipe and sharing a cake with their loved ones became her joy as well!

What She’s Listening To: Today I'm linking "Harry’s House" as Judith has really been enjoying listening to Harry Styles as of late. This is such a FUN album and I think it's great any day. Also check out “Chaise Longue” by Wetleg, another new favorite of hers.

Thank you so much for listening!

As always, any ratings and reviews over on Apple Podcasts mean the absolute world to me, but I would also love to know what you've been cooking up lately.

I'll be back in two weeks with a new episode. Leave a comment below and let's get cooking!
